How To: design your first barndo
- Pick a size: set width, length and eave height on the right.
- Choose a roof pitch. 4/12 is common for metal roofs.
- Pick a frame type: steel (red iron), post frame, or stick built. Turn on Show frame to see the structure.
- Choose wall, roof and wainscot colors.
- Upload a photo of your land and drag the building into place.
- Sign up to add floor plans, porches, site prep, foundation, materials and your own costs, and a lender package.
